Ahhhh... School starts back tomorrow, but we shall continue on, unfazed.
So let's get on with Berlin Day 5.
Wednesday:
We took the train out to Potsdam to visit the summer castle of Friedrich der Grosse. Mum paid voluntary upkeep of the garden which she thought was entry even though we told her before. We didn’t go into the castle because we don’t like queues. We did walk around the large grounds with a beautiful church for free though. It’s fun to imagine the same exact thing in the 1800s when he was alive. We had nommy German food in a restaurant with purely elderlies in it for lunch. That afternoon we walked around the charming city of Potsdam and had ice-cream. I had apricot and Dad had cantaloupe. Potsdam has its own Brandenburg Tor as well as another market that’s not a market. In Potsdam we had more delicious strawberry and strawberry cream ice-cream in the train station that looks like an airport. We just had street Buckwurst for dinner.
