OOTD: stripes and dots

I decided that every Saturday I would try to post some pictures of the outfit I would wear that day if I was going anywhere. Today per se, I only have sailing, so my actual outfit is just the tshirt and shorts with my lime green flip-flops. But I turned it into something a bit more presentable and put together just for you.

The t-shirt is from Life Is Good and I really love these shirts because they are super soft and give you a positive out look on life when you are feeling down. They have some really cute stuff in their new collection.
My shorts are from Lands' End. The shorts are supposed to be inverted pleats, but we got them on sale for $5. It's not very flattering on, but Mum just had to stitch down the pleats and they were fine. Just basic khaki shorts.
A navy stripy cardigan from Talbots (similar), a polka-dot satchel from J.Crew and floral ballet flats from Lands' End (similar) add some interest by introducing pattern play.
