A little bit of pattern play with the hound's tooth and stripes, but the yellow is a pale yellow so it is not too overwhelming. Of course, the Sperry's top it all off. What else would complete this outfit? I bought the book simple because of the name, but it did look semi-interesting.

Yes, the long-awaited Lilly skirt. Silly Meggyums defied my orders and wore it, TWICE! I love it any way and it has 4 pockets. I like to wear the tie to the side in a bow, and it's removable so that's nice and versatile.

I am seriously considering renaming the blog! New staple ballet flats and I love this dress. The cross-over back and braided detail is gorgeous.

I kidnapped this yellow purse from Meggyums because I think it makes a perfect addition to this outfit, or any outfit. (Of course, this is the perfect Meggyums piece that matches with her entire- mainly navy- wardrobe.) The knit skirt is really comfy and I hope it will be making a trans-Atlantic trip with me next month to one of those "B places" I talked about. :D
