The following is one of the WORST examples. just to give you a little "sneak peek". Brace yourself and be sure you want to click 'read  more'.

Prep pup

I don't know if I ever talk about my dogs but...
In October we got a new puppy. She's an insanely mixed breed dog (pothound) who looks rather Parson Jack Russel-y. Don't worry, she is a rather preppy puppy as she, along with my other two dogs, have bow ties for special occasions, hand sewn by Meggyums. Her own is (as expected) pink and green!
My puppy's name is Bella. AKA What-a-mess, Stinky, Murfee (only Meggyums calls her that), Miserable, Stupid dog, Cat dog, Simba (as in the lion Simba from lion king), Puppy among many other things. (These are just the most commonly used.)

Without further ado, here is one of the positions in which she likes to sleep...

Spring is coming so now its time to let those toes free!

This spring, instead of buying that pricy Lilly shift in her new print, opt a pair of Birkenstock's instead. Your feet and your back will thank you. I like the Gizeh style, and they come in lots of different colours, plus for some jazzy designs in the same style, try Papillio (a branch of Birkenstock). You will love them, My mum has FOUR pairs!

My one single pair is a really dark brown with little light pink flowers. All "Birkies" have cork soles and insane support. They are orthopedic shoes but unless you know about these shoes, you can't tell.

This is the perfect thing to wear for that well deserved shopping spree after working so hard in school/work/being fashionable! You're feet will never hurt so you can truly shop 'til you drop.

Invest in a pair, you'll be glad you did.

(P.S. I don't approve of wearing these without... PAINTED TOES!)

From the heart...

I think that the world we live in is too materialistic.

Sure it's nice to have expensive fashion forward brands like Lilly Pulitzer, Ralph Lauren and J.Crew, but that doesn't mean that you shouldn't wear Target or buy old collections on eBay. The stuff there is cute too, and just 'cause it's cheap doesn't mean it's ugly. Remember, an ugly mind and ugly heart is a 100 times worse than ugly clothes.

Just because you're rich or have money doesn't mean you have to flaunt it. If you do, that means you don't deserve it. Some of the richest people have the most modest of things. A real person who has money will not rule out shopping at Goodwill and Target.

Hey!
Happy Valentine's day!

I have a little surprise for you. I like to design in my spare time. More specifically, I like to design gymnastics leotards. Today, just for this special saint day, I'm going to post one page of my designs. If you really want to see more (and trust me, there's more) you'll just have to comment or e-mail me telling me how very badly you want to see it!

Meggyums' outfit of the day: Sunday Brunch

Blue Button up: Ralph Lauren
Floral skirt: Land's End Canvas
Wristlet: Coach
Wedges: Sperry Topsider

Hey! This is Mimmyums writing on the outfit Meggyums put together.
Yellow and blue for me are a classic combination that makes everything a bright and cheery affair. Add this light breezy skirt which I absolutely adore and you have the happiest outfit ever. This outfit is perfect for the much anticipated spring, and those gorgeous heels with the rope at the bottom just set it off. No explaining needed her, you can just see how elegant these pastels are together!

Outfit of the day- Summer serene

close up on earrings
Embroidered top: Gap
khaki shorts: Hurley
Stripy V-neck cardigan: Lands' End
Recycled plastic bag: Lilly Bloom
Floral ballet flats: Lands' End
Flower pin: Handmade by me!
Earrings: Handmade by me!

The neutral tones of this outfit give it a calm feel while the yellow gives it a summery vibe. Since we know I am not calm, the accessories add that well needed pop of colour. the pin on the cardigan pocket adds some texture while the purse and shoes add interest. The flower pin is called a "Tsunami Kanzashi" and the Geishas used to wear it in their hair. They are super fun to make and are great as gifts. this outfit is the perfect balance of serene and bold.
