Berlin Day 4

Tuesday:
That day we spent the ENTIRE day in the Technical Museum of Berlin. Mum and I ate a kinda pizza thing for lunch. It was delicious! Dad spent the entire day in the ‘Air and Space’ and ‘Shipping’ section. About an hour before the museum closed we finally got to go to the ‘Jewellery making’ and ‘Film’ section. It was really interesting, all of it. Mum got vexed with the man in the gift shop. It was so funny! I wanted something-wurst (in Germany, anything involving sausage has ‘wurst’ at the end) and we saw a Spanish restaurant with sausage so we ate there. It was horrible! They served us marinated cheese which was just ordinary cheddar in olive oil. Mum crossed off the tip on the bill.

just an update

I know I haven't been blogging but after my adventure (Berlin, don't worry I'll finish my tale) we needed a relaxing vacation, so my uncle rented a house down the islands (like having a summer home by the sea). These are small islands that are not permanently inhabited, but have purely weekend and vacation homes. Oh, and one of them is the prison island!
Tomorrow a couple of my friends are coming over for an online shopping party (no credit cards involved) and spaaaaaa day. I'll fill you in with pics.

Have you checked out Lilly's summer sale. I know my sister's credit card has!

Berlin day 3

Monday:
We took the train to Friedrichstraße outside of which was a very sad memorial about children who took trains to concentration camps and to England to survive. We walked down to the Reichstag, through Tiergarten –passing by a Soviet memorial- up to the Brandenburg Tor. There was free entry to the Guggenheim so we went in. The same way there’s fugly, there’s fart. It was just rubbish- LITTERALLY! We walked pass lots of pretty, old buildings on our way to the World of Chocolate by Ritter Sport. YUM! Didn’t make our own chocolate because there wasn’t any dark that day and the line was too long. The deserts in the café were so delicious. My mousse shaped like a giant block of Ritter Sport was worth a trip to Berlin. They made me walk around with 2 kilos of chocolate that day. Had dinner at Kaufhof, Schnitzel is kind of disgusting.
housekeeping fixed Bashful perfectly!

Berlin Day 2

We went down to Alexanderplatz and tried to go to church. Parents did not oblige. When we bought strawberries we found out the dumb fraud person put good berries on top and bad ones underneath. We went to a market, that wasn't really a market and used the tram because it was raining. (All we did was get lost.) Went home for a "nappy" (this old man again) and then went to the Story Of Berlin. You cannot get through there in 2 hours. Skipped a whole bunch of stuff but there was a really nice detailed thing on Hitler. Actually, EVERYTHING was detailed. Ate Greek for dinner.

watermelon soap

I really love handmade soaps and I usually buy one on each trip I go on. They smell sooooo nice and I like supporting individual people with Dad's money. I love this one from Etsy and I really hope one of you buys this for me.

Exciting trip!

Yes I am back. I've actually been back for a little under two weeks but have been feeling a little lazy recently. So in case you haven't figured out where I went (which I really hope that you did), I was in Berlin. It's a beautiful city created for my Dad and me, the city of bicycles and dogs- or rather hunds. So here is a small account of the first day with a few pictures and of course, the outfit.
