cardigan refurbishment

Getting inspiration from my last post, I upcycled my purple Target cardi.

Mum bought this Lands' End cardigan and then decided she didn't like the ties, so neatly cut them off and sticht the cardigan back to look as if the ties were never there. I took the ties and tied neat little bows then sewed them on to the tops of my pockets. Voila!
(Because it's the same sweater material, it looks more like if I bought it like that!

If you have a lot of cardigans like me, you probably stop wearing the older ones after a while. I found this cute post and here are the two that I like best.

I think I am going to try the bow one on my purple target cardi
