Like these bracelets? Cute huh? I think they're awesome but super expensive. They're really popular and are selling at between $35 - $40. The problem is, it's soooo easy to make! Comment or email me and tell me if you want to see a DIY on this. Super cute and fashionable!

animal print [leggings] outta control
Ok. I firstly apologize for my absence, school can take over. I hope I haven't lost all my readers.
So leggings have taken over and are currently ruling the country I live in. Unfortunately, they are not the good kind. :( I quote LMFAO when I say "animal print, pants outta control". Sadly, it's not pants, it's leggings! AHHHHHH!!!!! I am pretty sure I've seen it all, and people think they can be worn as pants. I'm here to tell you they can't!
Leggings are to be worn with a top that COVERS your buttocks and hits at least 1 inch below. With any top that doesn't cover your butt, you can almost be sure to see a panty line. So in other words, leggings are for tunics. They also look really nice with skirts/dresses if you're cold, or if the skirt/dress is short for modesty. Shorts and leggings are acceptable if the leggings are long and worn with boots. So no shorts and leggings for all you Caribbean people! Dresses and skirts CAN be worn with capri leggings.
Looking forward to your thoughts on this matter!
Don't forget to comment, I love to hear from you guys

Back to the crazy leggings. I've seen:
- Multicoloured leopard
- Multicoloured tiger
- Snake skin
- metalic leggings
- sheer leggings

Outfit of the day- Lilly love
Jewelry and close up on dress
the awesome back of the dress
Navy and pink dress: Lilly Pulitzer
Flower sandals: Lands' End
Starfish headband: Homemade by Meggyums to match my doggy's homemade bow tie
Jade flower bracelet: Houston China town
Pearls: ?
This is my ultimate, all time favourite dress that I have ever owed and not just because it's Lilly! I would wear this to quite possibly anyplace where "casual" is not acceptable. Anyplace! The navy fabric is zig-zag texture and is soft and thick. It's so well made I didn't even know it had a zip until my cousin pointed it out, but that may just be because I was so excited to get the dress. I love the little key hole in the back which for me just makes the dress. I think this requires simple jewelry to showcase it's beauty. What's more simple than pearls? Pink sandals complete the outfit and a simple quiet purse would do fine.

Bespectacled Bloggers?
Hey!
I hope you've been enjoying my Outfit of the days, and I really would love to hear from you so don't be afraid to comment or email me.
Most pictures that I've seen of fashion bloggers show that they wear glasses. Now I don't know if they thinks it's style or if that's just the truth of how many people in the world have bad eye-sight. I hate to admit it but I am one of those bloggers with glasses. Now this isn't for fashion, I'm blind like a bat thanks to my blood. I would have to admit though my glasses are pretty fashionable (mis-matched temples just like my socks!) I do have contacts but only for sports.
I'm sad because Meggyums went back to Galveston but nevertheless, have a nice day!

Outfit of the day: Accessorize!
Top: Lands' end
Jeans: Fox
In my opinion, this outfit of a simple grey top and plain dark jeans is transformed using just a couple of accessories that anyone might have to create two different looks. As I said before, anyone cramped for space or going on a shopping trip might want to try this trick and carry minimal clothes and a fair amount of accessories. you may even want to carry just a couple pairs of light shoes. Have fun and be yourself!
Jeans: Fox
Cardigan: United Colors of Benetton Vintage Indian Dupatta (wrap): Ebay Rain ballet flats: Sperry top-sider Clutch: Coach

Outfit of the day- the Globe Trotting Fashionista
Tank top:
Corduroy embroidered skirt: United Colors of Benetton
Sparkly cardigan: Cherokee
Scarf: United Colors of Benetton
Knit beanie: United Colors of Benetton
Tights: Macy's
Glitter ballet flats: Gap
I wore this exact same outfit (with different silver ballet flats) in New York to see Mary Poppins on Broadway and looked fantastic! This is the kind of skirt that the top just has to be tucked in and is made to be worn on the waist, not the hip. I love how purple goes with everything. That cardigan is my go to cardi as where I live is often too hot for a hoodie. It was well worth it's $15 in target and washes well. The purple tights are sparkly and look better on than off. This is the perfect outfit for any globe trotting fashionista!

Meggyums' outfit of the day: Yellow stripes and navy polka dots
Meggyums' Jewellery. Silver Starfish earrings and White-gold and Diamond Key Pendant
close up on starfish clip and bow-tie clip.
Yellow striped button up: Target
Navy polka dot skirt: Forever 21
Ballet flats: Gap kids
Bow clip: Forever 21
Starfish clip: Handmade by Meggyums!
Hand bag: Vintage Mulberry
Earrings: Blanca Flor Silver Jewelry Annapolis
key: Gift from my mum!
Simple outfit with a great impact. This is how mixing patterns works and everything in the outfit is a available from mass retailers and great prices. This just goes to show that a keen sense of style does not have to cost an arm and a leg.

Outfit of the day- Pink perfect
Square neck eyelet top: Lands' end
Hot pink shorts: Roxy
Tote: Lilly Pulitzer originals
Plaid boat shoes: Sperry top-sider
Knee socks: Little miss matched (limited edition from a couple seasons ago)
Bead and wire lariat: Hand made by me!
Wire bracelet: Hand made by me! (wire from Amazon and Micheals
This is a typical outfit for me to wear, despite all the stares i get, I'm accustomed. Even if I'm not wearing this I get the stares, a knee brace does not help you self esteem. Anyway, this outfit is probably a bit over the top but I mean, who couldn't love pink and green? (My favourite colour of course!) You can't say it doesn't match because it does. There's really no explaining to do here. All I can say is that Lilly Pulitzer would be proud!
